Bag Function Which Not Only Became Accesories

Every woman has a purse as accesories of fashion style, and use it for other functions, such as using a backpacker, handbags, etc. There are so many options for you to choose from. However, the functional use of each bag is different, which is an important aspect to consider.

Amisha Sisodiya, a senior at Trumbull High School agrees with this revolution of function factoring in to the usefulness of a bag. She says, “I love tote bags because you can carry lots of items.”

When dealing with picking out the ideal school bag, look at the size. A small, textured satchel will never do for carrying books around. Though this seems obvious now, it may not have been when you were shopping in the city. A large tote bag or even a state-of-the-art back pack would be just right for this use. Don’t sacrifice spilling your books all over the hallway because you wanted to buy that cute mini-saddleback bag.

Jordan Kovacs, a sophomore at Shelton High School, says, “I have a bag that I use for school, and a bag that I bring everywhere else; my purse for school is a lot cheaper because my school bag is dirty and I don’t want my good bag to get dirty or stolen at school.”

“In school I use a denim bag to carry my stuff,” says Emily Gaetano, a sophomore at Shelton High School.

Instead of wasting that purchase, use it for a quick trip to the mall. All you need there is a phone and plenty of gift cards.

Micaela Joyce, a senior at Shelton High School, says, “My favorite style is the satchel.”

Make sure that your choice is not too fancy either. There is no need for a sequined cross-body bag or silk black wristlet. A simple canvas messenger bag would be great for a day outing.

Becca Babcock, of Milford a junior at Joseph A. Foran High School, says, “I like hobo purses, because they fit everything and they’re stylish.”

“I’m pretty much satisfied with every type of purse or bag, but I definitely love purses by the George Gina & Lucy Company,” says Shemona Singh, of Milford, a freshman at Joseph A. Foran High School.

Casual get-togethers do not usually need as much thought put into them. For example, going to a friend’s house does not require you to bring your notebook or a bag lunch. A small hobo bag would fit your phone, iPod, money, and anything else necessary. This style has become popular because it has easy access to everything you need.

Krista Veikos, a junior at Trumbull High School, says, “My favorite style of purse for everyday wear is a small purse that is just large enough for my wallet, keys, and digital camera.”

“The only purse I carry around is a small Coach purse. I can keep my money, house keys, and driver’s permit in it. I don’t like carrying around bags so a small purse is the perfect size,” says Elizabeth O’ Brien, of Easton, a junior at Joel Barlow High School in Redding.

Choosing a matching evening bag tends to be easier because, generally, you do not travel with as much when going out at night.

Krista Veikos concurs with this because she says, “For formal occasions, I usually use clutches.”

An embroidered handbag does well for holding your basic necessities. If you go out to dinner, you will most likely not need a change of clothes or hairspray, so think of what realistically needs to fit into the purse.

“I do use different bags or purses for different occasions, such as clutches for formal wear,” says Singh.

Babcock agrees with the smaller purse for formal outings. She says, “Yes I use different bags for different situations, if it’s a more formal occasion, I will use a smaller bag.”

A wallet also does well in these situations. Since a wallet is so often used, it can be transferred from purse to purse or even used alone.

Kelly Burns, a sophomore at Fairfield Warde, says, “I rarely ever carry a purse. I usually just bring a wallet that can fit my cash, change and gift cards.”

Even though you may love a certain bag, make sure you will be able to use it before buying. If you have to make work it into your schedule, it is probably not worth it either. But always check to see if it is fashionable in addition to functional. Settling for one or the other will leave you unfulfilled, wishing you kept looking. The perfect bag is out there, just don’t give up too quickly.
